Verify the supplier’s channel role, hardware provenance and serial coverage together.

To verify a Zebra supplier, confirm its PartnerConnect role for your ordered product segment and run each unit’s serial number on the Zebra Warranty Check page. Zebra discontinued the PartnerEmpower channel program and replaced it with the integrated Zebra PartnerConnect channel program. In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, the Distributor may only sell Products (other than Open Products) to Program Members who have met the authorization requirements for resale of such Products. When a valid Zebra serial number is entered into Warranty Check, the tool displays product details along with the hardware warranty start and end date.

Use this guide to prepare a Zebra PartnerConnect distributor or reseller check before approving a scanning or printing quotation. Work through the channel role, provenance, product coverage and repair portal checks below, then keep the responses with your purchasing file. For the broader directory, browse IT distribution.

Check PartnerConnect distribution and reseller product access

Under the PartnerConnect EVM Distribution Agreement Amendment, trading under the Program relates to Zebra EVM products and services only.

In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, the Distribution Download electronic data feed regularly provided to the Distributor designates Program Members' unique identifiers and the Technology Segment, Markets, and Products to which they have access.

In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, Open Products are a discrete list of products requiring minimal expertise or support that may be sold to any reseller regardless of Program authorization.

In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, Open Resellers are dealers, merchants, and other legal entities holding a resale certificate who are NOT members in good standing in the Program and to whom the Distributor may only sell Open Products.

In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, the Distributor shall not resell Product to End-Users, through an independent agent or broker, or to or through catalogue sales outlets.

In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, the Distributor shall furnish weekly (or such other intervals specified by Zebra) inventory reports and sales-out reports.

Use the distributor verification guide and directory evidence labels when reviewing a supplier profile. When you submit a sourcing brief to DistributorIndex, include the quoted legal entity, branch location and target product family so we can align your channel review with the deal registration and partner handoff process.

Verify End-User warranty rules and Not New exclusions

Under Section 1.1 of Zebra's PartnerConnect warranty flow-down rules, each Product warranty is extended by Zebra to the End User who acquires the Product for its own use and not for resale, and not to any reseller of the Product.

Under Section 1.3 of Zebra's PartnerConnect warranty rules, resellers and distributors may not issue any warranties, guarantees, or licenses that purport to obligate Zebra to any person or entity other than the applicable warranties or license specified.

In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, a Product is considered Not New if acquired from existing customer installations, liquidations, bankruptcies, lease terminations or expirations, or used by an End User or as demonstration equipment.

In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, the duration of the warranty is extended from the date of shipment when sold through Resellers to allow for shipment and some stock time.

In the PartnerConnect EVM Base Distribution Agreement, an out-of-box Product failure is eligible for duplicate Product exchange or credit, as noted on the Distributor's request for return.

Start your supplier shortlist in the distributor directory or how to find a distributor. In each DistributorIndex supplier review, we separate manufacturer coverage from any seller-only service representation and record the unit provenance and return path on the purchase order.

Submitting the Zebra Card Printer Warranty Registration card or website registration enters the buyer's details into Zebra's warranty contracts database to show the start and end dates of warranty coverage.
