What a listing on this directory means

A published listing is a research record of a company we found, the markets and categories attached to it, and the sources on file.

A research record, not a recommendation

About the directory states the boundary: we organize publicly available company and brand-channel information. A published row in the distributor directory is not a ranking, a shortlist, or proof of authorization.

Presence does not mean the company is official. Absence does not mean it is unofficial. Both only describe what is currently in the published set.

What a profile is allowed to show

A profile can show the legal or trading name, website, headquarters country, service markets, categories, and brand relationships that we stored. Those fields come from the record, not from generated market commentary.

Brand names on a profile link to the brand hub when that hub exists, for example Hikvision or Uniview. Markets link to country hubs such as United Arab Emirates or Italy.

What it is not allowed to show

We do not invent authorization, exclusive territory, revenue, headcount, or warehouse capability. If those facts are not in the stored fields or the linked source, they do not appear as claims.

Relationship labels are explained in Official, source-supported, and unverified labels. How to re-check a row is in How to verify a distributor listing.

How listings get onto hubs

A company tagged with Security Cameras appears on Security Cameras. A company recorded for France appears on Distributors in France. The same company can appear on more than one hub.

If you are choosing a starting point rather than reading a single profile, use How to find a brand distributor.
